FROM 1920 TO TODAY, WHAT A JOURNEY IT’S BEEN!
From a neighborhood workshop to a state-of-the-art factory.
The days of the small wrought iron workshop seem so far away, when for decades, many local customers came to purchase gates, railings, shutters, and doors. Even then, the MANTION brand was a symbol of quality.
To meet orders from all over France, the main factory was established in 1964 at its current location in Besançon, on Rue Gay Lussac. After numerous developments and expansions, MANTION made the decision in 2011 to streamline the Besançon factory. Between 2011 and 2014, without any drop in service level or interruption of production lines, the site was completely redesigned and transformed.
A successful challenge!
Although a delicate operation, it enabled the MANTION Group to continue its growth. The factory gained 4,500 m² of industrial space while doubling its storage capacity to 10,000 pallets. The streamlining of the Besançon factory optimized production processes and strengthened competitiveness.
